Good Californians are dwindling because of a massive population of illegal aliens, new citizens and new permanent residents; all or most using democrat provided programs. They pay little to no tax and they outnumber actual w2 employed Californians.
This is why the state cannot vote in a Republican or a sane independent. The illegals and immigrants could care less about high gas because they are already subsidized. The politicians use State gas cards so they dont have to pay the $8 a gallon that is coming.
It will take a miracle and a renaissance moment where legal Hispanic residents and other immigrants actually feel the economic pain; that is when a possible change may occur.
Gavin Newscum can turn this around now but he won’t. All he needs to do is execute an emergency order and suspend: the gas tax, California EV mandate. Then he can sign orders to suspend and extend Phillip 66 and Valero with an exemption with no end date. That will keep fas at $4.50 a gallon.
But he won’t do it because he is beholden to the state’s whopping illegal alien population and legal latino voters.
