We have totally stopped eating out because of the cost. My husband and I went to First Watch recently for breakfast. We each had ONE pancake, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. The cost after tip…..wait for it…. $49.00. That used to be an expensive dinner. We are on Social Security and have to watch our $. I predict more and more restaurant chains will close.
Oh, and for that $49, even at today’s prices, I could have bought 5 pounds of bacon and 5 dozen eggs! Of course before the Obiden administration, that would have been half of that. But they are so joyful so there’s that!
But the economy is booming. NOT!!
