SEE IT: Sen. Rand Paul praises Trump with belated but enthusiastic ‘endorsement’

Welp… better late than never!

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky announced in a post on X Wednesday evening that he is so impressed with what President Trump has accomplished already, he is now giving Trump his ‘enthusiastic endorsement.’

The post came after President Trump blasted out a scathing rebuke against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, calling him a ‘dictator’ for holding on to power and not allowing regular elections to be conducted.

Highlighting Trump’s post about Zelenskyy, Sen. Paul wrote:

A few people may have noticed that I resisted an enthusiastic endorsement of Donald Trump during the election.

But now, I’m amazed by the Trump cabinet (many of whom I would have picked).

I love his message to the Ukrainian warmongers, and along with his DOGE initiative shows I was wrong to withhold my endorsement.

So today, admittedly a little tardy, I give Donald Trump my enthusiastic endorsement!

(Too little too late some will say, but, you know, it is sincere, there is that.)

Don’t expect this endorsement to be fawning.

I still think tariffs are a terrible idea, but Dios Mio, what courage, what tenacity.

Go @realDonaldTrump Go!

Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis responded, “Well said. A lot of us had reasonable hesitation and though we supported, stopped short of endorsing. Now we are GRATEFUL to be enthusiastically championing Trump 2.0!! AND, as you said, it’s not fawning. That’s the balance!”

Some are critical of Paul’s late ‘endorsement.’

While others are voicing their approval.

Radio broadcaster David Pollack wrote:

Trump had had my full endorsement since he came down the escalator in 2015.

When the establishment wrote him off in 2016. I stood by him and watched one Republican party hack after the next, move further away from the center of the stage while Trump stood tall.

When the establishment abandoned him after the stolen 2020 election and after the operation known as J6, I stood by him.

I stood by him when the GOP showed their true feelings for him and his supporters throughout Biden‘s disastrous administration.

I stood by him through the four indictments.

I stood by him through the two impeachments.

And I stood by him throughout the several civil lawsuits attempting to bankrupt him and his family.

I stood by him when they tried to k%## him twice.

And I was proud to stand by him among the rest of the true America first Patriots on election night in West Palm Beach when he declared victory from the communists and the uniparty who tried to steal it from us.

I’ve always endorsed President Trump, whether it was popular or not. And yeah you damned well better believe I fawn over that man along with many other patriotic Americans.

Leaders like that are gifted to us from God once in a generation if that. It’s time for Republicans to decide if they can accept the new identity of this America first Republican party. If not, we will find very comfortable commentator jobs for them on Fox and MSNBC. Sounds like you’re on board now and we welcome you.

We’ve taken this country back and we are taking this party back. It’s America first, always America first, and to the Bushes, Clintons, the Obamas, and the rest of the uniparty elitists, we are not going back.
