Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris will forever have something in common that no other women in the world will ever experience. They were both defeated by Donald Trump in their individual races for the Oval Office in a general election.

In 2016, Trump defeated Clinton, winning all the ‘swing states,’ and raking in 306 electoral votes, compared to 232 for Clinton.  However, Clinton did win the popular vote.

Although the 2024 numbers are still not all in, Trump has defeated Harris by a landslide, and is again projected to win all the swing states.  In addition, based on the votes reported so far, Trump has won the popular vote as well.  If Nevada and Arizona are both officially called for Trump, as it appears they will be, he will have 312 electoral votes, compared to 226 for Harris.

Clinton had endorsed Harris for president, and helped campaign for her.

A photo is circulating on social media of the two women sitting together, appearing very glum and dejected. The photo was reportedly taken on election night.

Former Trump campaign operative and political commentator Steve Cortes posted the video and captioned it, “0-2”.

Harris is also being mocked for the many similarities in her concession speech to that of Hillary Clinton’s.

After Joe Biden dropped out of the race in July and endorsed Harris to take his spot, Hillary Clinton posted an old photo touting her longtime relationship with Harris, along with a fundraising pitch.
