Active U.S. military members have rebutted Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ recent debate claim that the Biden-Harris administration had removed all military personnel from combat zones.

“As of today, there is not one member of the United States Military who is in active duty in a combat zone, in any war zone around the world, for the first time this century,” Harris falsely boasted during the debate, with no fact-checking or corrections provided by the moderators.

ABC moderators faced criticism for alleged anti-Trump bias, but active military members did the fact-checking for them and responded by sharing video clips of them watching Harris during the debate, with captions calling her statements “full of lies.”

In the video below, a soldier films the moment Harris blares this lie, turns the camera to her fellow service members, and asks: “So where the f*** are we, right now?”

FACT: Tens of thousands of U.S. Military members are indeed serving in hostile areas and recognized combat zones. For example, there are about 2,500 military personnel in Iraq and around 900 in Syria. A February Reuters report details that roughly 30,000 U.S. troops are stationed in the Middle East.
