Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts just sent a smear-filled letter to President-elect Trump’s Defense Secretary nominee, Pete Hegseth, on Monday, in which she literally complained about a tattoo on his body as one of the reasons she cannot support him for the position.

In the letter, Warren first “congratulates” Hegseth on his nomination, and says she looks forward to his confirmation hearing.  Then Warren lashed out, claiming she has “serious concerns about your qualifications,” as she lists off a series of wild allegations, including, “accusations of sexual assault and drinking problems, blatant disregard for the contributions of female servicemembers, support for war crimes and torture, threats to politicize the military, advocating for ‘war’ against political enemies, threats to undermine DoD readiness and diversity, and contempt for veterans receiving benefits they earned.”

Warren’s smear-filled letter slams Hegseth on everything from reports he drank excessively to his ability to manage finances and even asking if he believes service members should have access to birth control.

Later in the letter, Warren hit Hegseth over his Christian-related tattoo.

“You were also removed from President Biden’s inauguration because of concerns that you were an insider threat after reports that your “Deus Vult” tattoo “was a Christian expression associated with right-wing extremism.” We cannot have a Defense Secretary whose fellow servicemembers feel concerned enough about to report as a potential insider threat,” Warren writes in her letter.

Warren also slammed Hegseth for believing the 2020 election was not fair.

“Before January 6th, you also amplified false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, a narrative that fueled violence at the Capitol that day,” she claimed, adding, “We cannot have a Secretary of Defense who is peddling conspiracy theories.”

A portion of the letter has been shared on social media.  CLICK HERE to read the entire 33-page letter.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED... WATCH the video below, as Hegseth once explained to Mark Levine the story of his tattoo and him being disinvited from serving with other National Guardsmen during Joe Biden’s inauguration. This is eye-opening:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has also called for senators to reject Hegseth as Defense Secretary, and also complained about his tattoo in a press release.

Alex Pfeiffer wrote, “Elizabeth Warren is so desperate to smear Pete Hegseth that she’s claiming being a proud Christian means you are an extremist. Why is a Senator attacking religious expression? Does a former Harvard Law Professor not understand the First Amendment?”
