Hamish Steele, creator of the canceled Netflix kids’ cartoon Dead End: Paranormal Park with a transgender storyline, called Charlie Kirk a “Nazi” in an expletive-filled rant on the left-wing platform BlueSky.

Steele lashed out after Kirk’s assassination, targeting both the activist and those mourning his death.

“Why the fuck are you even commenting on this, dickhead?” He wrote on BluSky on September 11. “You sympathy for any of the families being slaughtered by your weapons. but a random nazi gets shot and its a public statement. You’re such a fucking evil shit.”

The 2021 cartoon, aimed at children seven and up, featured drag performer Miss Coco (Clinton Leupp) and trans actor Zach Barack as Barry Guttman, a “gay transgender teen boy.” The plot follows Barry and his dog Pugsley, who becomes possessed by the demon Temeluchus.

“DeadEndia is about terrifying demons, vengeful ghosts and mysterious magic,” Steele said of the series after it was picked up by Netflix. “It is also about coming of age in a world that wasn’t made for you. It’s a drama about found family, identity and making mistakes.”

“I’ve always dreamed of making the show I needed as a lonely, horror-obsessed closeted gay kid and thanks to Netflix and our ridiculously talented, diverse and representative writers room and crew, we have shot way past my dreams and into wildest fantasy territory!” he added.

Netflix canceled the series after two seasons.
