From The Daily Caller: Former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross melted down when Republican strategist Scott Jennings questioned her use of the term “concentration camps” Tuesday.
President Donald Trump made illegal immigration a priority in his second term after campaigning on the issue during the 2024 election, signing multiple executive orders when he took office on Jan. 20 to address the situation, particularly on the U.S.-Mexico border. Jennings cut in when Cross repeated the term she used in an earlier appearance on “CNN NewsNight.”
“People want — people who are suffering right now, people who cannot pay their mortgage, people who have been separated from their families, people who are sitting in deportation camps, concentration camps, foreign and domestic, those people do not want to see people —” Cross said before Jennings interjected with, “That’s offensive to Jewish people.”
“No, it’s not. I’m Jewish and it is not offensive. It’s not, it’s not a death camp ,” Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky chimed.
Jennings said, “People do not — comparing that to the Holocaust is wild.”
“I honestly wish they were more offended by the actions of this administration, instead of my language,” Cross responded.
“They should focus on something more important than what I call it and focus more on what’s actually happening to people who are getting disappeared by a government agency,” Cross continued. “And none of us should ever normalize that, like it’s something rational to do. My point is, this entire asinine scene of people playing cartoons…”
“You’ll never get it,” Jennings responded, with Cross then repeating an unfounded claim that the ICE was “disappearing” people.
