From the New York Post: Enraged spandex-clad customers at a Minneapolis CorePower Yoga studio berated staffers for being “complicit” in the federal immigration crackdown during a caught-on-camera clash last weekend — demanding that they immediately condemn ICE.
Video of the clash posted to social media by Heather Anderson, who claims to have been a regular at the location for nearly a decade, shows at least 13 women “spontaneously” facing off against two female staffers inside the studio’s lobby after a Sunday class let out.
In response to the incident, the Denver-based yoga chain banned Anderson — but otherwise caved to the mob and is putting up anti-ICE signs in its studios.
“Give us answers, let’s go … let’s hear it — why are you being silent?” Anderson, 51, can be heard saying from behind the camera, while it’s pointed at a blond, wide-eyed staffer.
According to the report, an anti-ICE sign had previously hung in the building’s front window, along with many other businesses, after two anti-ICE protesters had been shot. However, the CorePower Yoga studio had taken theirs down, and their clients were demanding it be restored.
It was a mob of radical, anti-ICE activists against two young women just simply there to hold yaga classes.
As the two young women stood trapped behind the counter, the mob yelled at them, demanding that they condemn federal immigration agents.
“Let’s hear it, Delaney, loud and proud, baby. You want to say it, let’s f–king say it! You should have well-rehearsed corporate action and words ready to go … Delaney, let’s hear a Goddamn answer,” Anderson demands.
Another woman taunts, “The silence is deafening.”
“We can f–cking get a yoga studio someplace else,” the mob threatened.

CorePowerYoga released a statement saying they do not support the ICE raids in Minnesota. However, the company condemned the aggressive students who yelled at the instructors, and said they suspended the membership and access privileges of all the students involved.
The company also said they have temporarily closed that student until they can be sure the teachers, studio team and students are safe.

CorePower Yoga also released groveling statement on Instagram, saying they had given free classes nationwide on Saturday, and many of their teachers had donated to the Immigrant Law Center of Minneapolis.
