White House posts photos of Trump, Vance and Cabinet members amid airstrikes on Iran

In a massive and strategic airstrike mission Saturday morning against the Iranian Islamic regime, called “Operation Epic Fury,” Israel and the United States managed to take out Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with at least 40 top Iranian leaders all in one attack.

The attack began with a huge airstrike on Khamenei’s compound, as he was hosting a meeting with the other Iranian Islamic leaders around 8:00 a.m. local time.

As the airstrikes were taking place, it appears President Donald Trump and VP JD Vance were in separate locations.  Trump had flown to Mar-a-Lago, after his trip to Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday, while Vance was still in Washington, D.C.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced in a post on Saturday:

President Trump monitored the situation overnight at Mar a Lago alongside members of his national security team. The President spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu by phone.

Prior to the attacks, Secretary Rubio called all members of the gang of eight to provide congressional notification, and he was able to reach and brief seven of the eight members.

The President and his national security team will continue to closely monitor the situation throughout the day.

The White House has posted a series of photos on social media, showing President Donald Trump and several of his Cabinet Secretaries gathered together in a conference room at Mar-a-Lago to monitor the operation.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles are among those seen in the photos with Trump.

Another photo shows Vice President JD Vance, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard and others gathered in a situation room at what appears to be the White House.
