From the Daily Wire: An American citizen could face ten years in German prison for stabbing an African migrant who sexually assaulted her in a train station.
The migrant grabbed the unnamed 20-year-old woman’s buttocks, she pulled out a knife, he grabbed her arm, and she wound up stabbing him in the heart, leading to his death, according to the German newspaper Junge Freiheit. German prosecutors in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate have brought charges against her.
Prosecutors don’t believe she meant to kill the man, but still don’t believe it was within the bounds of self-defense.
According to The Sun, the migrant was a 64-year-old from Eritrea, and the woman, who turned herself in to police, has been charged with causing bodily harm resulting in death.
The alarming incident reportedly happened on June 29.
A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department said in a statement to the Daily Wire, “We are aware of reports of a U.S. citizen involved in an incident at Kaiserslautern train station in Germany. We take seriously our commitment to provide all appropriate assistance to U.S. citizens abroad, and are monitoring the situation. Due to privacy considerations, we have nothing further to share at this time.”

After a 64-year-old Eritrean grabbed her buttocks, she pulled out a knife; he “grabbed the 20-year-old’s arm, which she was using to wield the knife. The 20-year-old freed herself from this grip and stabbed once in the same movement,” prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said they want to know why she was carrying a knife.
