President Donald Trump revealed last Sunday that NYC mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani had requested a meeting with him.
Wednesday night, Trump announced in a Truth Social post that the meeting has been scheduled for Friday, but he took a pointed jab at the Muslim Democrat Socialist in his short statement.
Trump has previously stated that instead of just being a socialist, Mamdani is a full-blown communist. Mamdani has claimed he is not a communist. However, Trump is sticking with the label.
“Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran “Kwame” Mamdani, has asked for a meeting. We have agreed that this meeting will take place at the Oval Office on Friday, November 21st. Further details to follow!” Trump wrote in his post.
