President Donald Trump ripped into a Fox News reporter in a short post on Truth Social Wednesday afternoon.
Senior White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich filled in as a weekend host for Fox News, and Trump clearly took issue with her reporting, although he did not mention anything specific.
However, Heinrich’s interview with National Security Advisor Michael Waltz on Sunday had prompted serious backlash from many conservative viewers, who said she sounded like a news host from the left.
“I watched Jacqui Heinrich from Fox over the weekend and I thought she was absolutely terrible. She should be working for CNN, not Fox. Not surprisingly, I later found out that she’s a fan of the White House Correspondents Association!” the president wrote.
Pinned to the top of Heinrich’s X account is a note of congratulations from the White House Correspondent’s Association, an organization that is well known for being “anti-Trump.”
On October 28, 2022, the WHCA wrote, “Congratulations to @JacquiHeinrich, winner of a #WHCA election to an At-Large seat on the association’s board. Welcome Jacqui.”
Heinrich responded, “Thank you to my White House Press Corps colleagues for your support!! Excited to get to work 💥.”

Conservatives were blasting Heinrich’s line of questioning on Sunday as she interviewed National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
You know, o watched the show and was taking back at all she was saying. Very upset at her stance and line of questioning/comments. Never thought she was on the wrong side @FoxNewsSunday should NEVER have her host again. Gave the show a bad look today.

At one point during the interview with Waltz on Sunday, Heinrich asked, “How do you know President Trump isn’t being played by Putin?”
