President Donald Trump doubled down Saturday night against the six Democrats who posted a shocking video this week, calling on U.S. military members and intelligence agents to DEFY orders from their Commander in Chief.
The Democrats claimed in their video that military members do not have to obey “illegal orders” from the president. However, in all their media appearances defending themselves, they cannot come up with any “illegal” orders Trump has given. But they seem certain he will do so.
The group, consisting of two senators and four representatives, includes Sen. Elissa Slotkin (Mich.), Sen. Mark Kelly (AZ), Rep. Chris DeLuzio (Pa.), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (Pa.), Rep. Maggie Goodlander (NH), and Rep. Jason Crow (Col.).
In a pair of fiery, all-caps posts on Truth Social Saturday night, President Trump wrote:
THE TRAITORS THAT TOLD THE MILITARY TO DISOBEY MY ORDERS SHOULD BE IN JAIL RIGHT NOW, NOT ROAMING THE FAKE NEWS NETWORKS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THAT WHAT THEY SAID WAS OK. IT WASN’T, AND NEVER WILL BE! IT WAS SEDITION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, AND SEDITION IS A MAJOR CRIME. THERE CAN BE NO OTHER INTERPRETATION OF WHAT THEY SAID!
MANY GREAT LEGAL SCHOLARS AGREE THAT THE DEMOCRAT TRAITORS THAT TOLD THE MILITARY TO DISOBEY MY ORDERS, AS PRESIDENT, HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME OF SERIOUS PROPORTION!
