President Donald Trump just blasted out a scorching warning to anyone who is considering burning an American flag.
The warning comes after independent journalist Nick Sortor extinguished the flames from an American flag set on fire by Antifa terrorists in Portland, Oregon Thursday night.
The Antifa mob tried to attack Sortor, and when he attempted to de-escalate the situation by walking over to officers from the Portland Police Department, the cops arrested HIM instead of the Antifa rioters.
Trump wrote on Truth Social Friday night:
To ICE, Border Patrol, Law Enforcement, and all U.S. Military: As per my August 25, 2025 Executive Order, please be advised that, from this point forward, anybody burning the American Flag will be subject to one year in prison. You will be immediately arrested. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

The Justice Department is now investigating the Portland Police Department for arresting Sortor.
