President Donald Trump has not yet announced military action against Iran, but he did issue an order Monday that could have a devastating impact on the Islamic-ruled country.
Trump said any country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will be hit with a 25% tariff. Fox News points out that Trump’s order could impact multiple countries, including China, Brazil, Turkey and Russia.
This comes as thousands of Iranians longing for freedom are continuing their ongoing mass protests, in an attempt to overthrow their Islamic rulers.
Trump announced:
Effective immediately, any Country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a Tariff of 25% on any and all business being done with the United States of America. This Order is final and conclusive. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
