WHAM! Fox News reporter torched by conservatives over criticism of Trump-Putin press conference

Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich has gotten herself into hot water again with Trump supporters.

Heinrich was among members of the press who attended President Donald Trump’s joint press conference with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, Alaska Friday.

Immediately after the event concluded, Heinrich went live on Fox News to tell viewers how it went; and according to her opinion, it was terrible.

She lamented the fact that President Trump allowed Putin to speak first, and said they are all waiting for the official transcript.

“The way that it felt in the room was not good. It did not seem like things went well. And it seemed like Putin came in and steamrolled, got right into what he wanted to say and got his photo next to the president and then left,” Heinrich declared.

“Of course, that is only the piece of the picture that we have right now, and certainly President Trump, who is the host… would not want to enable something that would make him look weak,” she rambled, while implying that Trump DID look weak.

Trump White House assistant and advisor Steven Cheung blasted Heinrich’s comments, writing on X, “Total fake news.”

Political commentator David Freeman wrote, “WTAF!?! Faux News had @JacquiHeinrich come on immediately after the press conference and BASH the meeting. This is why we call these people FAKE NEWS. Fox should be ashamed of themselves and they should IMMEDIATELY fire this lady.”

Meteorologist and Army veteran John Basham ripped into Heinrich, writing: “ANALYSIS: @FoxNews’ @JacquiHeinrich Comes Off As A Pure Partisan Trump Hater In Her Coverage From Alaska! This Is A Huge Contrast To @BretBaier Who Comes Off As A Non-Partisan Journalist Simply Conveying Facts. Heinrich Seems More Like A CNN Reporter Than A Balanced Journalist.”

Heinrich, 36, announced in early July that she had just gotten engaged to Republican Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, 51, of Pennsylvania.

Journalist Nick Sortor wrote Friday, “Jacqui Heinrich is on Fox trying to convince everyone Trump LOST against Putin today. REMINDER: Heinrich is engaged to “Republican” Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who voted AGAINST Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill because it didn’t give BILLIONS of dollars to Ukraine. Keep that in mind.”

Journalist Laura Loomer seized on a social media post by Heinrich’s fiancé, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.). He had written:

Time will tell what ultimately manifests from today’s Anchorage Summit between President Trump and Vladimir Putin. I commend and credit President Trump’s peace through strength policies which forced Putin to come to America to discuss a possible cease-fire, which Ukraine has already and repeatedly agreed to.

This simple fact remains: True and lasting security can only be achieved with our allies—most importantly with Ukraine—at the table. Ukraine’s sovereignty and freedom are not bargaining chips; they are principles that must be defended. No path to peace is credible without their voice. America has always led the free world by uniting our partners and confronting aggression with resolve. We must do so again—leading with peace through strength and standing with Ukraine and our allies to confront tyranny, defend democracy, and secure freedom for generations to come. #PeaceThroughStrength

“This is who @JacquiHeinrich gets her talking points from. Congressman Fitzpatrick, who she is engaged to. @RepBrianFitz. She should be honest with Fox News viewers that her RINO Fiance tells her what to say. An example of politicians literally being in bed with the media,” Loomer wrote.

More backlash pouring in against Heinrich’s criticism of Trump’s press conference on Friday:

President Trump blasted Heinrich back in March, over an interview she conducted with then-National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

At one point during the interview with Waltz, Heinrich had asked, “How do you know President Trump isn’t being played by Putin?”

“I watched Jacqui Heinrich from Fox over the weekend and I thought she was absolutely terrible. She should be working for CNN, not Fox. Not surprisingly, I later found out that she’s a fan of the White House Correspondents Association!” the president wrote in fury.
