The Trump administration has been busy cleaning house over the last four weeks, and has fired many federal employees who were working in “woke” DEI positions.
Due to the Trump administration’s crackdown on the woke ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’ programs, some universities and corporations have also been eliminating the programs, and the people associated with it.
Now the fired workers are howling in protest, with many speaking at public protest events or posting videos on social media.
One video features Summer Harvey, a George Washington University graduate worker whose position has been eliminated. The woman raged against the terrible injustice she has suffered while speaking at a protest event.
Reading from a statement on her phone, Harvey lamented that her “National Cancer Institute funded study was terminated.”
“I was told to stop work immediately and that no more research expenditures would be allowed. My study is to explore how to safely collect sexual orientation and gender identity and cancer care practices…. We need better data to create better clinical guidelines for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex people,” she raged.
“My research was terminated as a result of the president’s executive orders,” she continued.
