WATCH: VP Harris’ ‘shocking’ comments on Israel go viral, spark online criticism

From Fox News: Vice President Kamala Harris was roasted on social media for a comment on Israel and how she “can’t make any sense at all” in a new viral clip.

Harris gave a rare sit-down interview on CBS’ “60 Minutes” Sunday, where Bill Whitaker asked whether the U.S. has any “sway” over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as the war against Hamas continues. Monday marks one year since the brutal terrorist attack on Israel that sparked the war in Gaza.

“The aid that we have given Israel allowed Israel to defend itself against 200 ballistic missiles that were just meant to attack the Israelis and the people of Israel. And when we think about the threat that Hamas, Hezbollah presents, Iran, I think that it is without any question, our imperative to do what we can to allow Israel to defend itself against those kinds of attacks,” Harris responded.

She continued, “Now the work we do diplomatically with the leadership of Israel is an ongoing pursuit around making clear our principles, which include the need for humanitarian aid, the need for this war to end, the need for a deal to be done which would release the hostages and create a cease-fire. And we’re not going to stop in terms of putting that pressure on Israel and in the region, including Arab leaders.”

The Trump War Room pounced on the rambling response Harris gave and wrote:

“KAMALA on ISRAEL: Well, Bill … the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region. WHAT? 😳”

Outkick host Clay Travis wrote, “Kamala is asked about Israel, can’t make any sense at all. Kamala is like a running team that’s behind that can’t throw the ball. After hiding her for months, they are now panicking and doing interviews everywhere. But that’s going to get her behind more.”

Tomi Lahren commented, “And it’ll honestly be even worse for her when she does the fluffy podcasts because whereas she comes across dumb in serious interviews, she comes across as a phony dumbass in the others.”

Travis replied, “Well said. The suddenly panicked ‘we need media now’ strategy isn’t going to work. Because it just exposes why she wasn’t doing media in the first place. She’s in real trouble.”

Tim Helmick wrote, “Have you heard of “Double Speak”? This is “Babble Speak”, the adult version of speech most often associated with infants and toddlers. In babies “Babble” is seen as the way an infant mimics adult words. Adult “Babble Speak” doesn’t have a clear definition, it is commonly associated with adults who can not process clear thought’s into adult conversations. Babble Speak is being seen more and more in American political figures, I interpret this pheromone as I observe it in this video.”
