From Fox News: President-elect Trump’s newly tapped “border czar” refuted media claims that the incoming administration would be deporting U.S. citizens under Trump’s mass deportation plan to secure the southern border.

On Monday’s “Hannity,” Fox News host Sean Hannity asked former acting ICE director Tom Homan if the new administration would be deporting legal U.S. citizens, after this claim was made on ABC’s “The View” that day.

“No, exactly not,” Homan said. “Look, ‘The View’ is such an island of misfit toys. They don’t know what the hell they are talking about.”

“The View” co-host Ana Navarro had raged over Homan’s deportation plans on Monday, wildly claiming, “When you talk about mass deportations people think, ‘Oh it’s just going to be the criminals.’ There’s not enough criminals, aliens in the federal prison system for it to be mass deportations.”

Navarro also fumed that U.S. citizens might be deported due to some families consisting of both US citizens and illegal aliens.

Homan said the illegal aliens can self-deport if they want, and take their family with them.  Then, in a direct message to illegal alien criminals, he said, “We’re coming for you.”

When asked how the illegal aliens will get home, Homan fired back, “The ones we’re arresting, we’ll put ’em on an airplane and send them home. And the ones that want to go home on their own, they found their way up from across the world to come to the greatest nation on earth. They can find their way home.”

“Either that, or I’ll give ’em a free airline ticket, we’ll put them on our airplane and and we’ll take ’em home. Either way, it’s up to them,” he retorted.
