President Donald Trump reacted Friday morning to the news that the FBI has raided the Bethesda, Maryland home of former National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Bolton briefly served as NSA in the first Trump administration, from April 2018 until Trump fired him on September 10, 2019. He later turned into a staunch Trump critic, and has written a “tell-all” book, titled, “The Room Where It Happened.”

Federal agents are reportedly looking for classified information they believe Bolton still has in his possession.

The Friday morning raid comes just hours after journalist Paul Sperry had posted on X Thursday night: “BREAKING: Sources tell me in 2018 former Trump Nat’l Security Adviser John Bolton received a classified memo summarizing the explosive report exposing how Brennan cooked up Putin-Trump intel, but Bolton stuck it in an NSC safe and never briefed Trump, believing the Brennan intel.”

Friday morning, Sperry added: “DEVELOPING: FBI has raided the home of John Bolton as part of a “national security investigation in search of classified records” … developing …”

President Trump responds….

Speaking to reporters while making a visit to the White House Historical Association Museum Friday morning, President Trump said he wasn’t aware of the raid in advance, and learned about it on the news like everyone else.

“I’m not a fan of John Bolton. He’s a real sort of lowlife,” Trump said.

“I know nothing about it. I just saw it this morning… I tell Pam and I tell the group I don’t want to know about it. You have to do what you have to do,” he added.

Bolton tweets during raid….

At 7:32 am ET, Bolton posted the following comment on X, in response to an NPR report:  “Russia has not changed its goal: drag Ukraine into a new Russian Empire. Moscow has demanded that Ukraine cede territory it already holds and the remainder of Donetsk, which it has been unable to conquer.  Zelensky will never do so.  Meanwhile, meetings will continue because Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize, but I don’t see these talks making any progress.”

How it started this morning….

At 7am ET, FBI Director Kash Patel wrote, “NO ONE is above the law… @FBI agents on mission.

Attorney General Pam Bondi responded, “America’s safety isn’t negotiable. Justice will be pursued. Always.”

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino added to the mysterious posts, writing, “Public corruption will not be tolerated.”

FLASHBACK... Here’s the moment President Trump announced he had fired John Bolton on the morning of September 10, 2019:

I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore….

….I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning. I thank John very much for his service. I will be naming a new National Security Advisor next week.
