A video posted to social media by former President Donald Trump’s longtime aide, Dan Scavino Saturday afternoon is already going viral.
The video includes audio from a 2016 anti-Trump film originally released by liberal filmmaker Michael Moore, as he ranted about the reasons why the middle class were going to vote for Trump in the 2016 election. In the original video, Moore, a staunch Trump-hater, then claimed the people would later regret voting for Trump, and wildly raged that there would never be another election.
However, Moore’s own words from 2016 have now been clipped out and used in a powerful pro-Trump message, just 24 days ahead of the presidential election.
“Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said, ‘If you close these factories in Detroit and build them in Mexico, I’m going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back…’ It was an amazing thing to see. No politician – Republican or Democrat – had ever said anything like that to these executives, and it was music to the ears of people in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin,” Moore says in the newly-released video by the Trump campaign.
“Whether Trump means it or not is kind of irrelevant because he’s saying the things to people who are hurting, and it’s why every beaten-down, nameless, forgotten working stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump,” Moore added.
“He is the human Molotov cocktail that they’ve been waiting for. The human hand grenade that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them,” Moore also said of Trump.

In a separate post on X late Friday night, Trump made a promise to America.
“From the very beginning of this journey, I have been on a mission to rescue our nation from a failed and corrupt political establishment,” Trump wrote.
“I will NEVER QUIT, I will NEVER BEND, I will NEVER BREAK, and I will NEVER YIELD, not even in the face of death itself!” he vowed.
