From the New York Post: US authorities arrested an illegal migrant and top MS-13 leader for the East Coast — and one of the top three in the entire country — in a major Trump-backed operation in Virginia that nabbed more than 340 criminals in the past month alone, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced.
“This is what happens when you let good cops be cops,” FBI Director Kash Patel told a press conference, following the arrest of the suspected terrorist, a 24-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador, in a raid near Dale City, Prince William County on Thursday morning.
Few details have yet been given about the joint operation, which involved the FBI, ICE, ATF, the Virginia State Police, and Prince William County Police Department.
Patel announced on X, “I can now confirm that earlier this morning, law enforcement personnel arrested a top MS-13 leader in Virginia. Outstanding work from @AGPamBondi, our brave agents, @CBP, @GovernorVA, and our state and local partners. This is a massive victory for a safer America. Justice is coming.”

At the press conference Thursday morning, AG Bondi announced that the apprehension took place about 4:30 a.m. Thursday, after law enforcement had been working on the case for weeks.
“This morning, one of the top leaders of MS-13 was apprehended. He was the leader for east coast, one of the tope 3 in the entire country, right here in Virginia, living half an hour outside of Washington, D.C. He is an illegal alien from El Salvador, and he will not be living in our country much longer,” Bondi announced.
