From the New York Post: A top Department of Justice spokesman in New York was caught on a hidden camera ripping Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his recent prosecution of former President Donald Trump — accusing Bragg of conducting “lawfare” just to further his own political ambitions.
Nicholas Biase, chief spokesman for the Manhattan US Attorney’s Office, was secretly recorded tearing into the progressive prosecutor during a recent conversation with a so-called undercover operative from conservative podcaster Steven Crowder’s “Mug Club.”
“Honestly, I think the case is nonsense,” Biase was filmed saying to an unidentified woman on July 31 at what appears to be a bar.
The edited clip, and another from August 14, were released by Crowder on social media Thursday. The identity of the woman who secretly recorded the exchange with Biase wasn’t made public. The Post has not reviewed the full, unedited recordings.
Biase is heard saying in the recording:
“He[Alvin Bragg] was just stacking charges and rearranging things just to make it fit a case.”
“I think the case is nonsense.”
“It’s a perversion of justice.”
“It’s a travesty of justice.”
“It’s a mockery of justice.”
“The whole thing is disgusting.”
“That’s why he’s[Trump] surging in the polls.”
“[Bragg] is probably gonna try to lock [Trump] up… it’s going to be ugly,” Biase presdicted, adding, “They’re so obsessed with getting him.”
“Who is they?” the undercover investigator asked.
“The Democrats,” Biase replied.
Biase indicated that Bragg may have an ulterior motive, and could be using his case against Trump to boost his own chances of running for higher office.
“Before he decided to prosecute Trump, did you know who he was? You do now. I’m not sure what he wants to be, but I know he’s not happy just being the DA of New York County,” Biase said.
Biase also condemned the civil fraud case brought against Trump by New York state Attorney General Letitia James, who claimed he inflated the value of his assets.
“Every real estate person in New York does what he [Trump] did. Nobody’s ever been charged with this … You know, it’s a perversion of justice,” he declared.
Additionally, he slammed Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis for her case against Trump, saying she carried out a “travesty of justice” for indicting him on charges of ‘conspiring to overturn the 2020 election.’

After the video went public, Biase then tried to walk it back, claiming he was just trying to impress the woman he had gone out with, and didn’t really mean what he said. In a statement, Biase said:
“I was recently made aware of a video where I regretfully made some statements in a private and social setting that don’t reflect my views about two local and state prosecutions.
“I said these things in an effort to please and impress someone I just met, who was secretly filming me. I’m deeply sorry to the local and state law enforcement officials working on these matters, who deserve more respect than I showed them. I should have known better.”
Journalist Kyle Becker had a better idea for what Biase should do.
“Let me give a friendly word of advice to this DOJ official Nicholas Biase: He must run TO the fire and not AWAY from it to get through the sh*tstorm he’s about to be hit with. He needs to become a hero and own his comments. America needs this refreshing dose of honesty,” Becker wrote.

Crowder, this is nuts. Sadly, even this exposure won’t stop them from committing massive fraud against the American people.

Why isn’t this the biggest story in the nation?

Of course it is! They knew damn well that the charges shouldn't be brought or wouldn't stick.
They just wanted to label him as a felon during the election.
Same sick games are being played with Benny and Tim right now. They just want accusations, it doesn't matter if its true
