During his address to a Joint Session of Congress Tuesday night, President Trump honored a young boy with cancer who wants to be a police officer. DJ Daniel, 13, was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018.
Multiple police departments have honored him by making him an honorary member of the department, and DJ wore a police uniform to the event Tuesday night.
Trump announced, “Tonight, DJ, we’re going to do you the biggest honor of them all. I am asking our new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially make you an agent of the United State Secret Service.”
In a heart-melting moment, the boy reached out and hugged Curran after receiving the honor.

Democrats refused to applaud, even for that touching tribute, and they are getting torched for it.
