NEWS ALERT: Stunning video resurfaces of Kamala Harris vowing to ‘snatch’ patents

From Mediaite: Critics pounced on a resurfaced clip of Vice President Kamala Harris bragging that she’ll have the government “snatch” patents away from drug companies in an effort to lower costs.

The 2019 video from CSPAN from a campaign event in Iowa featured Harris arguing for the government setting a “fair market.” Companies that don’t comply, she said, would be stripped of their patents if the drug company received any federal funding.

“For any drug where they fail to play by our rules, and if that drug came about from federal funding for what’s called ‘R and D,’ research and development, I will snatch their patent so that we will take over,” she said. “Yes we can do that! The question is, do you have the will to do it?”

“I have the will to do it,” the now Democratic nominee for president said.

“The party frightened about the ‘threat to our democracy’ is nominating a wannabe tyrant,” declared Eric Abbenante, sharing a video clip of the shocking moment.

“Truly terrifying clip of Kamala running for president in 2019 threatening to seize private property from corporations,” declared Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Riley Gaines responded, “I vividly remember my 9th grade history teacher telling us that the first step toward socialism is often when the government seizes private land to limit capital production & control the economy. Never thought I’d see that in the U.S.”

Journalist Nick Sortor also posted the video and wrote: “WOW! Kamala Harris is literally threatening to unilaterally CONFISCATE citizens’ and businesses’ private property. “I will snatch their patent, so that we [the government] will take over. Yes we can do that!”

“THIS IS WHAT LITERAL DICTATORS DO. Comrade Kamala wants to turn America into a communist hellhole, and she’s OPEN about it. This should terrify EVERYONE!”

“I’ve never been one to publicly blast someone as a “communist,” but Kamala is ACTUALLY a communist,” Sortor added.

“HOLY MOLY! Kamala Harris wants to confiscate patents owned by individuals and companies for their products. “I will snatch their patent so that we [the federal government] will take over.” I hope all the businessmen are listening,” wrote George.

Another person wrote, “Kamala Harris says she will “snatch” registered patents from individuals and businesses so they will belong to the federal government. People this, along with No Borders, Setting Prices for Businesses is straight up Communism. Take a look at Venezuela…that’s her plan.”
