Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old man charged with assassinating UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a New York City hotel last week, was seen screaming out in protest on Tuesday.

Mangione had fled New York on a bus after the shocking murder on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

After a 5-day manhunt, Mangione was finally found and arrested on Monday, after he was spotted eating at a McDonald’s restaurant in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

On Tuesday, a swarm of police officers were seen escorting Mangione into the Blair County Courthouse in Pennsylvania for an extradition proceeding.

While being led into the courthouse, Mangione, wearing an orange prison suit, yelled out in protest, “This is extremely unjust, and an insult to the intelligence of the American people!”

“This is a lived experience!” he screamed as the officers pushed him through the door.

Watch below:

Mangione is being held without bail at The State Correctional Institution at Huntingdon, pending his extradition to New York.

Below are photos of Mangione while he was sitting inside the McDonald’s restaurant, just prior to his arrest on Monday.

He wore a disposable face mask, but removed it while eating, which also gave witnesses a clear look at his face, allowing them to recognize him as the man being sought in the New York City murder.

UPDATE: Luigi Mangione, suspect in CEO’s shooting charged with murder, came from wealthy family
