From the New York Post: Dramatic video captured a man dressed all in black getting stuck climbing tall security fencing outside the White House — with witnesses hearing him say “F–k it” before trying to climb over.
The mystery man was filmed by a tourist as he charged toward the fence on the South Grounds on Monday and immediately started lifting himself up to the top.
“Bro!” one onlooker could be heard gasping as the black-clad man shimmied his way up to the top of the fence.
Officers watched as the climber got to the top of the fence — with Secret Service agents inside the White House grounds racing toward the barrier.
When the man tried to climb to the other side of the fence, he got stuck on the spikes at the top.
Sirens started wailing, and officers were running from the White House toward the fence. The man appeared to decide he’d made a mistake and climbed back over to the outside of the fence.
As soon as he dropped to the ground, waiting officers nabbed him.
Another tourist, David Stanley from Oklahoma, posted a video of the entire ordeal on X and wrote, “Saw this pretty surreal thing at the White House today. This man walked by my wife and I as we were taking pics of the White House. He walked by us and said “F$ck it” and started crossing barriers until he reached White House fence. Seeing the snipers on top scurrying around and dogs racing out on the lawn was wild.”
