From the Washington Examiner: Rev. Franklin Graham, an evangelist leader who has grown closer to President Donald Trump, launched a veiled criticism at former President Joe Biden while giving delivering a prayer Monday.

“Mr. President, in the last four years, there are times I’m sure you thought it was pretty dark,” Graham said. “But look what God has done. We praise him and give him glory.”

The president of Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian humanitarian organization, has butted heads with the Biden administration in the past.

In Graham’s prayer for Trump’s inauguration on Monday, he entreated, “We ask that you would bless him and that our nation would be blessed through him. We also ask that you would bless and protect Melania as First Lady.”

Graham also posted a video of his prayer on social media and wrote:

I was honored to give an invocation at our nation’s 60th presidential inauguration ceremony before President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance were sworn in today. I urged those in attendance to stand still and remember the great things that God has done for this country and to keep our eyes fixed on Him. Will you join me in praying for President Trump and our leaders?

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” (Daniel 2:20-21)
