President Donald Trump spoke to reporters in the Oval Office Friday, after the new jobs report was released for the month of February, his first full month back in office.
CNBC reported: “Nonfarm payrolls increased by a seasonally adjusted 151,000 on the month, better than the downwardly revised 125,000 in January.”
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday that federal government jobs declined by 10,000 in February, although government payrolls overall increased by 11,000.
EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced, “Today’s jobs report shows the auto industry GAINED 9,000 new jobs in February!”

During a discussion on tariffs, Trump said, “Globalists won’t love this because this brings jobs back to America… I think the United States is going to do records business. We’ll bring back a lot of those 90,000 factories that have been lost over the last number of years.”
