An old video clip of radical ‘Squad’ Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (Minn.) is going viral again on social media, and has caught the attention of Vice President J.D. Vance.

Omar, now 42, came to the U.S. as a Somalian refugee when she was a teenager, and became a U.S. citizen in 2000, when she was 17 years old. She managed to get elected to the Minnesota state House of Representatives in 2016, where she served from January 2017 through January 2019.

Omar was elected to the U.S. Congress in the November 2018 election, becoming the first Somalian woman to be elected to U.S. Congress, and one of the first Muslim women elected to the Congress, alongside Palestinian-American Rashida Tlaib.

In February 2018, while still serving at a Minnesota state lawmaker, Omar sat down for an interview with Al Jazeera host Mehdi Hasan.

Hasan asked Omar if conservatives could justify being fearful of Muslims because of terrorist attacks linked to extremists.

Omar responded with a jaw-dropping attack on white men, claiming, “I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country. So, if fear was the driving force of policies to keep Americans safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men.”

The video went viral at the time, sparking outrage from conservatives. Although the clip was slightly edited to exclude part of Omar’s reply, the substance of her words was the same.

The the video clip is now going viral on social media again.

Conservative Paul A. Szypula posted the old 2018 clip Sunday morning, which has gotten over 3.2 million views.

Libs of TikTok then re-posted the video, and it has gotten another 7.4 million views. WATCH BELOW:

Below is the UNEDITED VERSION, shared by journalist Laura Loomer:

Vice President J.D. Vance re-posted the shorter version of the video Monday morning and wrote, “This isn’t just sick; it’s actually genocidal language. What a disgrace this person is.”

“Disgusting,” wrote Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah).

In another post, Sen. Lee added, “Racists have no place in Congress. Unacceptable.”
