During an appearance on MSNBC on Saturday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, a Democrat, brazenly declared that if you don’t vote Democrat, you’re un-American.

Hochul was trying to convince voters not to support Republican candidates.

“It gave me a chance to tie the Republicans running for these seats, the incumbents, closer to Donald Trump and remind everybody that if you’re voting for these Republicans in New York, you’re voting for someone who supports Donald Trump, and you’re anti-woman, you’re anti-abortion, and basically, you’re anti-American,” Hochul raged.

“Because you have just trashed American values and what our country is all about,” she added.

Former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R), who ran against Hochul in the 2022 governor’s race, shared a video of her comments and wrote, “Quite the closing message from the so called campaign of joy: If you don’t vote Democrat, you are Nazi, Hitler loving, anti-American garbage.”

Hochul is being shredded on social media over her comments:

One social media user declared, “Such a horrible governor Hochul is for our state. As a woman, and a New Yorker I voted for a secure border, a thriving economy and for peace around the world! I think importing millions of illegals, using our U.S. tax payer $$ for putting them up in five star hotels, giving them free health care, education, free food and supplies is un-American!”

Another person, Lacy, fired back at Hochul, “Listen here, Kathy. I served my country. I deployed to a war zone. Got cancer because of that war zone. THAT is about as American as you can get. What have YOU done for your country? Respectfully, GTFOH, @GovKathyHochul.”
