During a House Oversight Committee hearing Wednesday on the Stay-At-Home Federal Workforce, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) raked a former Biden official over the coals.
Mace was grilling Democrat Martin O’Malley, who briefly served as commissioner of the Social Security Administration for the Biden administration, from 2023 to 2024.
O’Malley, 61, is also the former governor of Maryland (2007-2015), and the mayor of Baltimore (1999-2007). He also ran for president in the 2016 Democrat primary, but later endorsed Hillary Clinton.
Now O’Malley is running to be the chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
“I think you are the perfect candidate for chair of the Democrat Party. Your liberal record is truly astonishing,” Mace declared, as she then launched into a list of his liberal policies.
Amid the scorching tirade, Mace challenged O’Malley to define what a woman is.
“You’re going to ask me to define what a woman is?” he asked.
