WATCH: Multiple groups of Middle Eastern illegal aliens cross into US

From Breitbart: More than 500 migrants in four large groups crossed into Eagle Pass over the weekend. Most concerning, according to a source with Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is the number of Special Interest Aliens embedded within the groups. Since Friday, five migrants from Iran, 19 from Egypt, four from Afghanistan, and five migrants from Turkey were arrested after illegally crossing the Rio Grande into the small Texas border town of Eagle Pass.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, the number of Special Interest Aliens apprehended in Eagle Pass increased in recent weeks. The source within CBP told Breitbart Texas the increase is a new phenomenon for the area.

“On the whole, the Special Interest Aliens have crossed predominately in Arizona and California,” the source explained. “We have seen huge numbers in the past, but they consist of mostly Venezuelan, Cuban, and Central American migrants that choose to surrender in large groups.”

Lt. Chris Olivarez, spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, announced Monday, “This morning, @TxDPS apprehended a large group of illegal immigrants on private property in Maverick County. The group included family groups, 23 unaccompanied children – 16 boys/7 girls. Among the group were 22 special interest immigrants from Egypt & Turkey. #OperationLoneStar.”

In a separate post on Friday, Olivarez announced:

NEW: TX DPS APPREHEND SPECIAL INTEREST IMMIGRANTS, ARREST 57 FOR CRIMINAL TRESPASS – 10/11: @TxDPS Troopers apprehended a group of 165 illegal immigrants in Quemado, just outside of Eagle Pass.

Among the group were 14 Special Interest Immigrants from Iran, Egypt, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Troopers made 57 arrests for criminal trespass. The arrests included illegal immigrants from Peru, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Guatemala, and Ecuador.

In addition, 29 unaccompanied children/minors, ages 10 – 17, were recovered. #OperationLoneStar

Reporting further on the “children,” Olivarez added: “VIDEO: Earlier today, @TxDPS Troopers recovered 29 unaccompanied children/minors, ages 10 – 17. All had an address to a “sponsor” in New York, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, & other states. The children were turned over to #USBP.”

Earlier this month, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee and the Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement released a scathing report, blasting the Biden-Harris administration for allowing over 1.7 million “special interest” illegal aliens into the United States who pose a potential national security threat.
