From the New York Post: Migrants waiting in Mexico for an appointment with the Biden administration’s CBP One app broke down in tears after learning their appointments were canceled immediately as President Trump took office on Monday.
CBP One went offline at 12 p.m. EST Monday, according to an announcement from Customs and Border Protection. It’s just one small part of Trump’s promises to make sweeping reforms at the southern border beginning the first day of his second term.
The app allowed tens of thousands of migrants into the US. Up to 1,450 migrants per day were allowed to schedule immigration appointments and request asylum in the US via the app.
A notice pointed on the app now reads, “Effective January 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, the functionalities of CBP One that previously allowed undocumented aliens to submit advance information and schedule appointments at eight southwest border ports of entry is no longer available. All appointments have been cancelled.”

Washington Post reporter Arelis R. Hernández posted a video showing one migrant woman weeping and wailing after learning her CBP One App appointment had been cancelled.
“Migrants in Ciudad Juárez who were waiting for their 1 pm CBP1 parole appointments learned 20 minutes ago that the app has shut down & those appointments are no longer valid,” Hernandez wrote.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin announced, “BREAKING: It’s official. The Trump administration has canceled the CBP One cell phone app parole program used by Biden to allow more than 900,000 migrants to enter the US. Existing appointments have been cancelled. This is the notice on CBP website. Term undocumented alien used.”

In another post, Melugin wrote, “Migrants in MX weep as they learn that Trump has terminated the CBP One cell phone app that Biden used to essentially wave a magic wand and allow 900,000+ otherwise inadmissible migrants into the U.S. via mass blanket humanitarian parole.
