Former President Donald Trump is participating in a Town Hall event in La Crosse, Wisconsin Thursday evening.
From The Hill: Thursday’s event will be moderated by former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (I-Hawaii), who endorsed the former president earlier this week during a campaign event in Detroit. Gabbard, who ran against President Biden and Vice President Harris in 2020 before leaving the Democratic Party, was recently added to Trump’s transition team.
The town hall marks the former president’s first campaign visit to the Badger State since he accepted the GOP nomination last month at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. The convention ended just days before Biden announced he was dropping out of the race and endorsing Harris.
The event just started at 8:15 pm ET.
Gabbard began by asking Trump about his position on the issues surrounding IVF.
