The U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate will meet at 1:00 pm ET Monday to formally certify the 2024 presidential election results in a “Joint Session of Congress.”
As ‘president of the Senate,’ VP Kamala Harris will have to preside over the formal proceedings to certify President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide win, and seal her own brutal defeat.
Harris has publicly confirmed, “I will perform my constitutional duty as Vice President to certify the results of the 2024 election.”
The senators were seen walking across the Capitol to the House to begin the proceedings.
