White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is holding a press briefing Thursday afternoon.
The briefing is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm ET or shortly after.
It is expected that Leavitt may comment on a judge’s ruling Thursday morning, which ordered that illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia to be released from immigration custody.
Issues on the economy are expected to be discussed during the briefing, after the Federal Reserve just announced Wednesday that the interest rate has been cut by a quarter of a percentage point.
Leavitt is also expected to discuss the bombshell news Wednesday that the U.S. military has seized a Venezuelan oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela, which was being used to transport sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran.
