To us, he’s President Donald Trump. But to Kai Trump, he’s just Grandpa.
Kai Trump, 18, is the oldest grandchild of President Trump, and the oldest child of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump. She has her own YouTube channel and frequently posts videos about her life to her 1.25 million subscribers.
On Saturday, Kai released a new video of a golf outing she had with her grandfather a few weeks ago, to kick off her new video series called “1 on 1 with Kai.” They were at the Trump National Golf Club Washington DC, an 800-acre private golf course located on the Potomac River.
“In the video, everyone gets to see the bond we have, especially on the golf course. This is my favorite video I have filmed so far and holds a lot of meaning to me,” she wrote in the YouTube description.
“Most people know him as Donald Trump, the 45th and the 47th President of the United States. Others know him as businessman or politician. But to me, he’s just my Grandpa,” Kai began.
“We’ve been playing golf together for years. It’s something he’s always loved, and it’s become a way for us to spend time together,” she explained.
The White House Rapid Response team posted a touching clip from Kai’s video, where she asked her grandpa if there are still dreams he’s trying to chase.
“You’re asking questions like you’re a television [reporter]. I thought I was just gonna come out and play a round of golf with you, and you’re asking questions like I’m on television,” he joked.
“I want to know,” she insisted.
“You become president, that’s a dream, right? Now you’re president… now your dream is to be a great president,” he replied, referring to himself.
“Well, you’re doing a pretty good job,” she said.

In between golf swings, while riding along in the golf cart, Kai asked her grandfather several questions, including, “How has it been in the White House so far?”
“Doing great… I stopped 7 wars,” Trump said, adding, “Hopefully we get Putin and Zelenskyy to stop killing everybody.”
“What’s your favorite color?” Kai asked. “Maybe red,” he responded, wearing a red MAGA hat.
“Who’s your favorite golfer of all time?” Kai asked.
“Tiger [Woods],” he quickly replied, then listed several others. Kai’s mother, Vanessa Trump, is reportedly dating Tiger Woods.
Driving along, Trump passed someone and said, “Thank you everybody! Your taxes are coming down!”
