Radical ‘squad’ Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (Minn.) has gone on a rampage against President Donald Trump since he has returned to the Oval Office.

Omar, a Somalian refugee who came to the United States when she was a teenager, is fuming over multiple executive actions Trump has taken right out of the gate to secure America’s borders and stop the invasion of illegal aliens that Joe Biden allowed to flood into the U.S. over the past four years.

Trump issued an Executive Order aimed at ending the practice of awarding “birthright citizenship” to babies born to illegal aliens inside the U.S.  The Trump administration has also stopped all flights of refugees that were scheduled to enter the U.S., until “further entry into the United States of refugees aligns with the interests of the United States.”

Omar blasted out a statement condemning the suspension of the refugee flights.

“At a time when global strive, ecoomic uncertainty, and the climate crisis are fueling unprecedented levels of forced migration, it is beyond shameful the president has turned ouir back on those suffering from global catastrophe,” she fumed. “This inhumane decision will have dangerous ripple effects around the world.”

Omar then re-introduced a bill that would repeal a 1798 U.S. immigration law signed by John Adams, calling it “un-American” and “dangerous.” She also claimed that Trump’s orders on immigration are illegal and unconstitutional.

From the Star Tribune: Rep. Ilhan Omar introduced her first bill in the new Congress Wednesday in hopes of countering President Donald Trump’s plans to deport undocumented immigrants.

It marked the fourth time she’s introduced the Neighbors not Enemies Act, which would repeal the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, a centuries-old wartime law that gives the president the ability to detain and deport foreign nationals deemed threats to the country.

Because Republicans control Washington, Omar’s bill is unlikely to advance in the 119th Congress. Instead, her decision to reintroduce the bill at a time when Trump and his party seek to crack down on immigration was largely a symbolic move. As deputy chair of the left flank Congressional Progressive Caucus, Omar is laying the framework for how the caucus plans to resist the new administration.

“Stephen Miller and Donald Trump are preparing to dust off the law for their plan for mass deportation. This will be another moral stain on our country,” Omar said of Trump’s deputy chief of staff.

Omar introduced the bill alongside Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, who is sponsoring it in the Senate.

Omar said she wants to “repeal the outdated and dangerous Alien Enemies Act of 1798.”

“The Alien Enemies Act is a relic of a xenophobic past—a draconian law that empowers presidents to target immigrants without due process. Proud to have my colleagues by my side as we re-introduce the Neighbors Not Enemies Act—to repeal this harmful law and ensure no one is deported based on fear and prejudice,” Omar claimed.

“The Trump administration’s immigration policy is a threat to immigrants like criminals,” she bizarrely stated.

“Today I introduced my Neighbors Not Enemies Act to repeal the outdated and dangerous Alien Enemies Act of 1798. Donald Trump is preparing to dust off this archaic law for his plan for mass deportation. It’s way past time to repeal this xenophobic law once and for all,” the Somalian refugee congresswoman demanded.

In another press briefing with the Progressive Caucus on Thursday, Omar continued her attacks against Trump.

“We’re days into Trump’s new term and he’s rolled back decades of progress: attacking birthright citizenship, halting refugee resettlement, accelerating the climate crisis, and making prescription drugs more expensive. This is not normal and @USProgressives won’t stand by,” she raged.
