President Trump held a Cabinet Meeting at the White House Thursday morning with members of his administration, and then invited the press in for a detailed review, as each member of his Cabinet spoke and Trump answered questions from reporters.

The president commended his team, saying, “Everyone at this table is doing an incredible job… It’s like they’re friends. The relationships are very strong and these meetings are very good.”

“These are very sacred meetings, very private meetings, but we have nothing to hide… we want to be transparent,” Trump said, explaining why he invited the press in.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave a report on the Panama Canal.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced that so many countries are now reaching out to work with the Trump administration regarding the tariffs.

“They have come with offers that they never, ever, ever would’ve come with but for the moves that the president has made demanding that people treat the United States with respect,” he said.

OMB Director Russ Vought said, “I’m very thankful for the House voting for
@POTUS’ budget resolution… We’ve made a ton of progress this week in working with members… now we can get after writing that bill, getting the President as big a package of his agenda to his desk.”

Education Secretary Linda McMahon announced, “We’re addressing the issue of anti-Semitism on campuses. There’s been some grant funding and contract funding that we have reviewed, some cancelled and some we’ve put on hold while we do an investigation.”

Chief of Staff Susie Wiles also commended the entire team, telling President Trump, “This Cabinet pretty uniquely collaborates, cooperates, and works together to accomplish all that you have asked them to do and they deserve a lot of credit for that.”

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz announced, “Last year, the Chinese received 1700 orders for new ships. American shipyards received 5. Under your leadership… we are going to revitalize and make shipbuilding and maritime great again.”

Transportation Sec. Sean Duffy also noted that American shipbuilding is being revitalized.

EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced, “The Biden EPA was strangulating the economy. The Trump EPA understands it’s not a binary choice. We can protect the environment and grow the economy… We’ve now cancelled $22B worth of grants and we have launched what is the largest de-regulatory action in the history of the country.”
