X owner Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in the world, doubled down on his support for former President Donald Trump on Saturday, as he came to Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and spoke on stage.

Musk publicly endorsed Trump in a social media post almost immediately after Trump was shot in an assassination attempt at the same location on July 13.

“I will be there to support!” Musk announced in a post on X late Thursday night, about Trump’s come-back rally in Butler on Saturday.

Saturday afternoon, Musk revealed that he would be speaking at the rally as well.

In his speech at the rally, Musk, wearing a black MAGA hat, first paid tribute to Trump, saying, “The true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. We had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot! FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!”

“America is the home of the brave, and there’s no truer test than courage under fire,” Musk said.

“This election… it is the most important election of our lifetime. It is no ordinary election,” Musk warned.

“The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech. They want to take away your right to bear arms. They want to take away your right to vote effectively,” he continued.

Musk slammed Democrat-led states who are making it illegal to require voter ID, and asked, “How are you supposed to have a proper election if there’s no voter ID? It’s meaningless.”

“Free speech is the bedrock of democracy,” he explained.

“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve Democracy in America,” Musk said.

He predicted that if everyone doesn’t get out and vote to help Trump win, “this will be the last election.”

Later Saturday evening, Musk wrote on X, “If @realDonaldTrump doesn’t win, the “Democratic” Party will legalize so many illegals that there will be no swing states! America will become a single-party socialist state, just like what happened to California, where they just made requiring voter ID illegal.”

Musk bounded onto the stage with unbridled enthusiasm.

CNN had a melt-down this week over Elon Musk’s support for Trump, but, as many noted, they made no mention of Musk mobilizing his companies and resources to aid victims of Hurricane Helene.
