Both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have repeatedly tried to blamed former President Donald Trump for multiple issues which haev occurred during their administration, including the invasion at the border, the struggling economy, skyrocketing crime, and even their bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan.
But during her contentious Fox News interview Wednesday night, Kamala Harris uttered one comment that shoots down all their Trump-blaming excuses, and conservatives are saying it could just be her undoing.
From Breitbart: Vice President Kamala Harris told Fox News anchor Bret Baier that presidents and vice presidents have “to take” responsibility “for what happened” during their administrations.
During an interview with Baier, Harris was asked about a campaign ad in Pennsylvania that said Harris supported “taxpayer funded sex changes for prisoners.”
When asked if she was “still in support of using taxpayer dollars” to help prisoners or illegal migrants “to transition to another gender,” Harris explained that she would “follow the law,” adding that former President Donald Trump followed the law.
When Baier pointed out that Trump claims he “never advocated for that prison policy and no gender transition surgeries happened during his presidency,” Harris pointed out that presidents and vice presidents have “to take” responsibility “for what happened” during their administration.
Harris has previously touted her support for prison inmates to receive gender transition surgeries – so much that the Trump team released an ad campaign exposing her for it – but she refused to directly respond to Baier’s question during the interview, only claiming that the law already supports the taxpayer-funded surgeries.

However, Harris then turned right around and tried to blame her problems on Trump again.
Pointing to a disastrous poll, Baier told Harris, “More than 70% of Americans say the country is on the wrong track. If you’re turning the page, you’ve been in office for 3.5 years.”
Harris brushed it off, claiming the problem is just because “Donald Trump has been running for office.”

Harris is being widely mocked on social media over her remark, “You got to take responsibility for what happened in your administration.”
“Kamala just lost the election,” one X user wrote.
“That’s the next Trump campaign commercial,” another declared.
“Absolutely. The Trump team is going to make lots of ads with this,” yet another X user predicted.
“Kamala Harris is going to regret saying this,” quipped Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

20% inflation
Declining take home pay
2 new wars
10+ million illegal immigrants
4.5% increase in violent crime“You gotta take responsibility for what happened in your administration.”

One Trump supporter posted a long list of catastrophes that happened during the Biden-Harris administration that she needs to take responsibility for.

Kamala, if you want to talk responsibility, let’s start with your admin’s failures: skyrocketing crime, the border mess, and wasting our money on foreign issues while ignoring homegrown problems. Time to own up. #ActionsSpeakLouder

She says this about Trump just after claiming zero responsibly for the last 4 years. https://t.co/mCrcJZLMWG
