A mob of Haitian immigrants held a protest outside former President Donald Trump’s campaign rally on Long Island Wednesday evening.

Calling themselves “Haitians for Harris,” the group jeered and yelled at Trump supporters as they walked past to attend the rally.

Concerns have risen over the influx of Haitian migrants the Biden-Harris administration has brought into the United States, and the spotlight has especially been on Springfield, Ohio, a small midwestern town where an estimated 20,000 Haitians were resettled.

One outraged Springfield resident recently spoke out at a city council meeting over the havoc caused by the Haitian migrants,

“They’re in the park grabbing up ducks by the neck, cutting their heads off and walking off with them and eating them!” the man declared.

In turn, Trump has spoken out against the situation, which has enraged Democrats, who then accused Trump of making false claims.

“People like Donald Trump and JD Vance need to be accountable for the false statements they are spreading around. It is injuring not only the people in Springfield, but many people here in New York City where their kids are being bullied,” said New York State Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn.

The Haitian immigrants in New York then held the protest against Trump over his Long Island rally. Pix11 reported:

Mimi Pierre Johnson immigrated when she was 9 and she’s lived in Nassau County for the past 31 years. She says Trump’s visit is a slap to the face for the Haitian community.

“You are not only retraumatizing this community that is going through a lot in Haiti right now, but then you come to a place where you know there’s a lot of us and you just think we are going to be quiet,” said Johnson.
