The University of North Carolina fraternity brothers who famously held up the American flag when a pro-Palestine mob tried ripped it down on April 30 finally got their party.

From Fox News: CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – It’s OK to be patriotic. That’s what John Rich of Big & Rich wanted college students at the University of North Carolina to feel at Flagstock 2024, the concert-turned-music festival he put on in honor of the fraternity brothers who stopped the American Flag from hitting the ground during anti-Israel protests in May, according to Rich’s manager, Marc Oswald.

“My question for you is this: Do you still love America?” Rich asked students in the crowd during his performance on Monday at the local American Legion in Chapel Hill.

The crowd responded by chanting, “USA! USA! USA!” Videos of the moment are circulating on social media.

The report explains that about 2,000 students were expected to attend the event Monday evening in Chapel Hill. However, the crowd was estimated to be less than half that. But those who did attend were fired up with patriotism.

The event featured performances by Big & Rich, Lee Greenwood, Aaron Lewis, John Ondrasik, a.k.a. Five for Fighting, and Roman Rene Ramirez of Sublime.

Daily Wire journalist Kassy Akiva wrote, “The crowd at Flagstock is a mix of patriotic students and veterans. It’s a really sweet bunch.”

The students were seen in one video clip chanting “USA! USA!”

The event even received a “fly over”….

Country singer Aaron Lewis sang a song called, “I ain’t made in China… I’m as American as it gets.”

Below is another clip from the event:

And the grand finale…. Lee Greenwood sang, “God Bless the USA” as fireworks lit up the sky.

Here’s what happened on April 30 that prompted the massive show of support and the patriotic concert for the students:
