Former Trump campaign official Steve Cortes had a little fun at the Democrat National Convention in Chicago this week, as he attempted to get an illegal alien man from Venezuala into the event.
The DNC has been mocked for the tight security they implemented for the event, even erecting multiple fences around the venue to protect them from the mob of pro-Hamas protesters outside.
Cortes notes that Democrats could secure the “borders” of their own event, while leaving the border of the United States wide open.
He managed to get Edwin, an illegal alien from Venezuela to play along, as he first took the young man to the entrance of the event, which was being guarded by a group of at least six security officials.
The security officials informed him that Edwin needs ID and “credentials” in order to be admitted.
“You mean he needs credentials get get past the wall?” Cortes said, feigning surprise.
They then try to obtain credentials for Edwin.
“Has anyone filled out an application for him?” the man asked.
“So there’s a process for an application? He didn’t have that at the border,” Cortes quipped.
Cortes posted the video on social media and announced, “The DNC is more secure than America’s border. When a Venezuelan migrant tried to get into the DNC, he was denied due to lack of ID, failure to submit an application, and no credentials.”
“Why is Kamala enforcing the rules at her convention but not at our border?” he taunted.

Elon Musk responded to the video, writing, “Does seem hypocritical.”
Cortes responded, “Security for Democrat elites but no security for every other American. Hypocrisy at its worst. A nation without borders cannot survive.”
