Former Trump aide Peter Navarro was released from a federal prison in Miami, Florida on Wednesday, and flew straight to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in time to speak at the Republican National Convention.

He was welcome by thunderous applause and given a hero’s welcome by the RNC audience.

Navarro was imprisoned in March for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena by the now-disbanded January 6 Select Committee.

“If they can come for me, they can come for you,” Navarro warned.

In his speech, Navarro said, “Here’s how it went. Here’s how I got in prison. The legislative branch came for me first. Your favorite Democrat Nancy Pelosi created your favorite committee, the sham January 6th committee which demanded that I … violate executive privilege. What did I do? I refused.”

‘I went to prison so you won’t have to. I am your wake-up call,’ said Navarro.
