Far-left activists interrupted the confirmation hearing for Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth at least three times Tuesday morning, while he was delivering his opening statement.
“”You are a misogynist! Not only that, you are a Christian Zionist!” the first protester screams out, interrupting Hegseth’s remarks.
Capitol Police quickly marched him out of the room.

Hegseth had barely resumed his opening statement, when another anti-Israel protester started screaming about Gaza, and was also promptly marched from the room.

A third outburst soon followed, and police had to grab the man and literally carried him, still screaming, from the room.

The protesters were from the radical “Code Pink” group, and held up signs ahead of the hearing that read, “No Hegseth, No Religious Extremists, No Christian Jihad,” and more.

During the hearing, Sen. Tom Cotten (R-Ark.) posted on social media, “The anti-American, anti-Israel Code Pink nuts are paid by the Chinese Communist Party. What a disgrace.”

Sen. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) shared a photo of the protesters and wrote, “Reminder that the Code Pink protesters are funded by the Chinese Communist Party. Of course they would be opposed to @PeteHegseth!”
