Former President Donald Trump, the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, was a special guest on Fox News Channel’s “Gutfeld!” show Wednesday evening, where he stayed for the entire one-hour episode.
The show, which aired Wednesday night, was recorded earlier on Wednesday, before Trump traveled to Long Island to speak at a huge campaign rally that evening.
Host Greg Gutfeld started off the show by asking Trump about his golf game, and Trump joked, “I always said golf is a very dangerous game.” Just three days earlier, a would-be assassin had been caught after hiding in the bushes with a gun while Trump was playing golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“I get more angry when my pant pocket gets caught on a doorknob than you get angry about getting shot at. How do you process that?” Gutfeld asked Trump.
Trump responded by noting that being president is a very dangerous job. “Fortunately, so far I’ve been very lucky — or something is greater than all of us,” Trump said, referring to God.
“I think He’s voting for you,” quipped Fox contributor Tyrus.
Later in the show, Tyrus asked Trump how to stop the cartels from importing drugs into the United States.
“The only way you’re going to stop [the drug cartels] is the death penalty for drug dealers — Each drug dealer on average kills 500 people,” Trump said.
Trump also responded to questions about Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and the Teamsters Union refusing to endorse Harris.

Trump’s appearance on Gutfeld is getting rave reviews on social media.
Many people are describing Trump as funny, relaxed, kind, humble, and saying it showed a completely different side of him than what the media tries to portray.

I saw the Gutfeld show with Trump tonight. That’s without a doubt the most relaxed, natural and comfortable that I’ve ever seen Trump. He’s usually pretty natural in friendly interview situations, but this one was different. Great show.
