In a Facebook Live video Wednesday night, podcast host Dennis Michael Lynch pointed out the hypocrisy of all the Democrats who are in an uproar after a protester was shot and killed by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis.
The anti-ICE protester, identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, was shot by an ICE agent in self-defense when she stepped on the gas and drove her vehicle straight at the agent standing in the street. The incident occurred as a mob of people were in the area, protesting against the immigration enforcement agents.
DML compared the incident to that of MAGA supporter and veteran Ashley Babbitt, who was shot and killed by a U.S. Capitol Police officer on January 6, 2021, as she attempted to climb through a broken window to enter the Capitol building. It should be noted that Babbitt, unarmed, was only climbing through the window, and not making any physical threat to the officer.
In the case of Babbitt, Democrats never voiced any outrage over her death, and staunchly defended the officer who shot her.
But now, Democrats are taking the opposite approach, calling the ICE agent a murderer, and blaming ICE, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and even President Trump.
“Now Democrats are outraged, they’re going to have investigations, ICE is the Gestapo and Trump is Hitler,” DML said, adding that the Democrats are “demonic.”
